State Treasury raises 2.1tr dong worth of G-bonds

The State Treasury has recently offered three trillion dong worth of government-backed bonds for tender for 2- and 5-year tenors with total raised volume at nearly 2.1 trillion dong.

Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on July 19 announced the tender results of G-bonds issued by the State Treasury for 2- and 5-year tenors.

For 2-year tenor bond, the issuing date is on July 15, 2012 and maturity date is on July 15, 2014 with a total offered volume of one trillion dong and raised volume of 800 billion dong at the yield of 9.45 percent per annum, equivalent to the success ratio of 80%. The total amount of money for raised bond payment was nearly 801 billion dong.

For 5-year tenor bond, the issuing date is on July 15, 2012 and the maturity date is on July 15, 2017. The total offered volume was two trillion dong. The raised volume reached 1.3 trillion dong at the yield of 9.88 percent per annum, equalling to the success ratio of 65%. The total payment for raised bond was nearly 1.3 trillion dong.
