State Treasury to issue 500b dong construction bonds

The State Treasury in Hanoi has announced that the city will issue one trillion dong in capital construction bonds in order to raise more capital to facilitate the Hanoi-Hai Phong Highway No. 5 in the near future.
Accordingly, bonds with a value of 500 billion dong will be issued on October 20, 2006 under the two forms: 350 billion dong bonds will be underwritten and another 150 billion dong bonds will be auctioned via Hanoi Securities Transaction Centre.
Until now, 25 credit and financial organisations have registered to join underwriting bonds and another 34 organisations have registered for the bond tender.
