Steering Committee to administer HCM City-held land

HCM City People’s Committee issued a legal regulation on October 5 on the establishment of the HCM City steering committee for the administation and development of the real estate market in HCM City. Under the regulation, the steering committee will be tasked to manage and administer the performance of the real estate narket. The head of the HCM City Service of Resources is voted to hold the chief of the steering committee, the head of the HCM City construction department and deputy head of HCM City finance department are appointed to act as the deputy heads of the steering committees and the head of the HCM City Justice Organs, deputy heads of HCM City architecture and planning department, deputy heads of the HCM City planning and investment department and vice rectors of National Economic Insitute, chief of the General Statistical Office and the general director of Saigon Office Building Co are appointed to act as members of the steering committee.
The standing office of the steering committee is headquartered at the HCM City Service of Resources and Environment No 63, Ly Tu Trong, District 1, HCM City.
The funding to the operation of the steering committee is from the city budget source.
At the end of every year, the steering committee will value and classify the results concerning the real estate market by city departments and agencies and district people’s committees so that the HCM City emulation and commendation board can award the achievements of these units.
