Stock market continues increasing tendency

The last trading session this week ended with another gain on both bourses Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Following the increasing impetus of previous sessions, the VN Index today April 16 continued gaining 0.54 points or 0.1% to 522.03 pts. The liquidity increased with the total trading volume of 59.3 million shares for nearly 2.215 trillion dong.
After a trading week, the VN Index gained 4.61 points or 0.89% week on week with the average trading volume of over 51 million shares worth nearly two trillion dong per session.

According to the statistic, the stock market today witnessed 110 share codes increasing with 39 reaching the ceiling price, 81 decreasing with three falling to the floor price and 33 remaining unchanged.

Some Blue-chips increased such as EIB, BVH whereas others decreased like STB, VNM, HAG, HPG, SSI, REE, KBC, PBF, SJS, FPT and DPM.

PET reached the biggest trading volume with over 2.38 million shares and then MCG with 1.58 million, VSH nearly 1.47 million, STB 1.2 million, SSI with over one million shares being traded.
Similarly, the HNX Index also bounced another 0.74 points or 0.43% to 172.6 pts.

The total market trade reached over 48.7 million shares valued at over 1.7 trillion dong.
