Stock market ends first week with a surge

The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC) today April4closed the first week of April with a surge on the stock market when the VN Index added another 3.77 points or 0.71% to 533 pts with the total matching order trade of 1,576,900 shares worth nearly 90 billion dong, marking the seventh consecutive increasing session.

Among 153 shares and fund certificates being listed on the southern bourse, the stock market recorded only one share decreasing and the remainders increasing.
The sole share decreasing was SAM.

VIC reached the biggest trading volume with 52,460 shares and followed by CLC with 40,000 shares and others like TDH, PRUBF1 and BBC.

The foreign investors bought in 18 share codes with the total volume of 93,410 shares, of which KDC reached the biggest trading volume with 50,000 shares and CLC with 21,090 shares and others including SJS, PVT and SHT.

Like the southern bourse, the Hanoi Securities Transaction Centre (HaSTC) also kept increasing impetus on the stock market when the HaSTC Index added 2.97 points or 1.56% to end at 193.29 pts with the total market trade of 619,300 shares worth over 35 billion dong.

Amongst 133 listed shares on the northern bourse, there was no share decreasing, three shares with no trades and 130 shares increasing.

Three shares with no trades were HSC, S12 and VTL.

ACB performed the biggest increase when adding 1,900 dong and followed by S99 and VSP up 1,800 dong, BVS leaped 1,700 dong, RCL and SCJ added 1,500 dong, NBC and SD2 bounced 1,400 and SD7 up 1,300 dong per share.

The sole shares reaching trading volume of over 100,000 shares was NVC with 118,800 shares and others below 100,000 shares like BMI with 98,400 shares, KBC with 30,300 shares and PGS with 25,200 shares.
