After the trading session on July 6, the VN Index of Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) slipped 2.73 points or 0.63 percent to 428.3 pts. The total trading value reached over 518 billion dong, nearly 1.5 fold increase against the previous trading session.
Of which, negotiation transactions accounted for 55 percent of the total trading value with 280 billion dong. Notably, negotiation transactions for VNM-coded share reached 1.15 million units worth 138 billion dong. SBT also reached negotiation transaction of 4.1 million units for 50.4 billion dong.
Matching order trading reached nearly 238 billion dong, marking the lowest level since November 23, 2009 so far.
Most of shares decreased 0.1-1 points such as SSI, ITA, ITC, STB, VCB, BVH, HAG, HPG, KBC and KDC. Of which, SSI led the trading volume with over 1.4 million shares being transferred.
The HNX Index also dropped to 73.44 points. The market trading value reached only 258 billion dong, or 80 percent compared to the previous trading session.
The northern bourse saw 5 share codes with trading volume of over one million shares including KLS, VND, BVS, SCR and PVX.
