Stock market lies in trough

The first trading session of new week on June 9, the Vietnamese stock market closed with another decline. Ending the 1799th session, the index of Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC) stood at 379.12 points after falling 5.12 pts or 1.33% with the total matching order trades of nearly one million shares worth 27 billion dong.

Among 151 shares and fund certificates being listed on the southern bourse, the stock market saw 12 shares increasing, three stood still, four with no trades and 135 decreasing.

STC today recorded 74 shares and three fund certificates with trading price of below 20,000 dong per unit, of which two more share codes slipping to the face value including ICF and SBT and one to below face value namely VTA, bringing the total shares being traded below face value to nine share codes.

Some gainers were SGT, VIC, BT6, AGF, CII, ALT, BHS and SCD.
Four shares with no transactions were BTC, SDN, TNA and VIS.

Only SGT reached the trading volume of more than 100,000 shares and followed by DXP (74,070), VIC (74,070), CII (48,610), LBM (42,060), PET (40,890), STB (36,230), VIP (33,990) and DHA with 32,890.

Foreign investors bought 45 share codes and one fund certificate with the total volume of 339,200, of which SGT reached the biggest trading volume with 95,740 shares, SSI with 60,040, VIC 28,430, FPT 17,420 and VNM with 13,450 shares being transferred.
Similarly, the index of Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HaSTC) today June9finished at 108.46 points after losing 1.40 pts or 1.27% with the total market trade of 1,071,600 shares worth nearly 19 billion dong.

Amongst 138 listed shares on the northern bourse, the stock market witnessed ten shares increasing while 96 others decreasing, four remained unchanged and 28 with no trades.
Ten shares increasing were BBS up 200, HCC +300, KBC +1,200, NLC +300, S64 +200, TBC +300, VBH +400, VC2 +200, VTV +100 and XMC added 200 dong per share.

Four shares stood still namely BCC, HNM, L18 and SJE.
MIC showed the biggest decline when losing 2,000 dong, followed by ACB slipped 1,200, VSP dropped 1,100 and HLY, RCL and SCJ down 1,000 dong per share.

TBC reached the biggest trading volume with 105,500 shares, others with below 100,000 units like CSG, NVC, SD6 and BLF.
