Stock market report March 19
The HCM City STC yesterday March 19 saw a rally on the stock market when the VN Index rose 23.58 to close at 133.34 points up 2.12% against the previous session with a total market trade of 11 million shares worth 1.104 trillion dong in total.
During the session, prices of 80 increased while that of 13 stood and 16 down.
The top five share codes seeing a high rise in prices were HRC +17,000 dong to 358,000 dong per share, DHG +12,000 dong to 262,000 dong, REE +10,000 dong to 280,000 dong, KDC +9,000 dong to 196,000 dong and VNM +7,000 dong to 192,000 dong each.
Meanwhile, the five share codes seeing a sharp reduction in prices included BMC falling 22,000 dong to a ceiling level of 432,000 dong per share, BMP -10,000 dong to 212,000 dong, SFI -9,000 dong to 197,000 dong, TTP -4,000 dong to 113,000 dong and IMP -3,000 dong to 145,000 dong per share.
The stock market also saw five shares with the highest trade such as PRUBF1 with 1,904,690 fund certificates changing hands at 18,000 dong each, PPC with 1,326,520 shares traded at 81,000 dong per share, higher 1,5000 dong compared with the previous session, VFMVF1 with 702,420 fund certificates traded at 49,000 dong each, REE with 413,880 shares and STB with 289,600 shares changed hands 154,000 dong per share.
As estimated, after issuing more shares, the chartered capital of AGF An Giang Fisheries Import and Export Joint Stock Co will be 130 billion dong. In addition, the company has announced that it will pay a 20% dividend in shares to shareholders.
Regarding the northern floor, the HASTC Index reached 459.36 points up 10.97points compared with March 18 with a total transaction value of over 530 billion dong.
During the session, prices of many share codes rose from 18,000 dong to 30,000 dong per share. Especially, immediately after the SSI reported gaining 50% of total figure for the whole year, the price of SSI coded share up 22,800 dong per share, followed by SDA +22,400 dong and ACB +18,500 dong.
Also, BMI ranked the second on the floor in term of a reduction in prices when the price of BMI fell 6,600 dong per share although the Bao Minh Insuarnce Corp had signed a US$4 billion insurance contract with Vietnam Airlines at the end of last week.
