Taiwan cabinet seeks more management after petchem fire
Taiwan’s cabinet asked the economics ministry to set up a management centre after a fire earlier this week at Formosa Petrochemical’s giant Taiwan refinery complex, the government spokesman said on Thursday.
The two-day fire closed much of the 540,000 barrel-per-day Mailiao refinery complex, the fifth largest in Asia.
