Tax exemption on motorbike spare parts imported from Laos

Under Circular No 04/2009/TT-BCT issued recently by the Ministry of Industry and Trade guiding import under tax quota in 2009, the import tariff will be 0% for some goods imported from Laos.

Particularly, three items imported from Laos including motorbike spare parts, paddy and material for tobacco industry will enjoy import tax exemption.

The circular will apply on Customs Declaration from January 1, 2009.
