Singapore investment company Temasek Holdings expects smaller returns for the asset management industry on anticipation that the outlook will be difficult for years, said Gregory Curl, its president and head of Latin America.

Investment returns will be lower compared with historical gains, Curl, 63, said at an industry conference in Hong Kong.

The United States represents considerable risks, he added.

Temasek managed $193 billion as of March last year.
