TH1: 1H/2011 ne profit drops 33pct to 21b dong

Vietnam National general Export Import JSC. No.1 (TH1) made a net profit of VND21 billion on revenue of VND1.1 trillion in H1/2011, down 33 percent but up 47.2 percent on-year, respectively.

The company reported VND15.4 billion net profit on VND584 billion revenue in Q2/2011, compared to VND17.5 billion and VND471.5 billion a year ago, respectively.

The firm had total assets of VND981.5 billion at the end of quarter, against VND793.3 billion at the beginning of this year.

On August 2, TH1 closed down 1.1 percent to VND17,800/share; P/E at 3.35x, the StoxPlus data showed.
