Thac Ba hydropower firm plans 79b dong profit in 2010

In 2010, Thac Ba Hydropower Joint Stock Co (coded TBC) targets to bring over 180 billion dong in revenue, and over 79 billion dong of pre tax profit, according to Khuat Minh Toan, the company’s deputy general director.

Toan said that, in May, TBC will stop operation of the third generator of Thac Ba hydropower plant to upgrade after one year of operation.

In 2009, the company advanced 31.5 billion dong for contractor Lilama10 to carry out this project and this year actualised value would be 110 billion dong.

Last year, TBC gained over 208 billion dong of revenue, over 129 billion dong of profit after tax with EPS of 2,043 dong per share.
