Trade ministry rejects monthly fuel price adjustments

The Ministry of Trade on March 2 stated it did not agree with the proposal on monthly adjustments of oil and petrol prices by the Ministry of Finance.
Reportedly, the Ministry of Finance submitted to the government on the proposal on adjusting oil and petrol prices monthly, but according to the trade ministry, the adjustment on oil and petrol prices is not appropriate in the context where the world oil and petrol price is changing everyday.
The monthly adjustment of oil and petrol prices will cause difficulties to oil and petrol importers and traders, calculating the use of oil and petrol prices and so forth.
