Trading value on HNX surges 60pct

The HNX Index today Monday November 28 ended up 1.2 percent and trading volume posted the highest figure in recent eight sessions. The group of securities stocks gained points strongly such as KLS, VND and WSS.

Closing the trading session today, on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC), the VN Index returned to lose 0.04 points to 383.31 pts.

The trading volume reached nearly 33 million units worth 438 billion dong, rising nearly 8 percent from the previous session.

Four shares reached trading volume of over one million units namely STB, MBB, SSI and ITA. At the time of closing the trading session, only STB lost points (2 percent) while the remainders gained by 1-3 percent.

STB also reached the biggest trading value under the put through method with over 29 billion dong. STB was transferred for over two million units at the reference price of 14,600 dong per share. In the previous week, STB was negotiated for up to 23 million units.

Amongst the group of large cap shares, MSN, BVH, VNM and FPT lost points by the end of the trading session and the others were traded around the reference price including HPG, KDC, VIC, and PNJ.
Two real estate shares namely HQC and OGC kept the ceiling price till the end of the trading session.

The HNX Index kept the upward trend since the beginning of the trading session at 61.91 points. The trading volume increased sharply with over 31 million units worth 287 billion dong, rising 60 percent from the previous trading session.

KLS and VND led the market in terms of trading volume with 4.4 million shares and 3.7 million units being traded. At the closing time, VND reached the ceiling price to 10,400 dong per share and KLS nearly reached the ceiling price at 10,300 dong per share.

Some other shares of securities brokers reached the ceiling price from the beginning of the trading session, including WSS, APS, AVS, SHS and PSI. WSS ranked at the second in terms o trading volume with nearly 2.2 million units being transferred.
