TSC: Swings to 20.7b dong Net Loss in Q2/2012

Can Tho Techno-Agricultural Supplying JSC. (TSC) swung to a net loss of VND20.66 billion in Q2/2012 compared to a year-earlier profit of VND4.7 billion in Q2/2011.

The firm’s net revenue reached VND656.29 billion in the quarter, down 23.8 percent from a year ago, the firm said in its financial statements posted on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC)’s website.

TSC attributed its net loss to low demand, price volatility and high financial costs during the quarter.

In H1/2012, the company made a net loss of VND45.6 billion on net revenue of VND1.34 trillion versus a net profit of VND9.9 billion and revenue of VND1.35 billion respectively a year ago.
