Unicef free polio vaccine programme for 2.3m children

The programme of providing free polio vaccines for 2.3 million children below five ages in 30 provinces and cities will be implemented in November. Especially, whole children under five in 19 localities bordering neighbour countries and nearly 100 children living in main point districts of 11 other provinces will enjoy free polio vaccine. The budget for the programme is about nine billion dong, in which United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) aids US$200,000.
