US dollar selling price at banks up 70 dong May 17

As announced by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), the interbank average forex rate today Tuesday (May 17) slipped another 5 dong to 20,673 dong/US dollar and the US dollar selling price at banks increased 70 dong.

The forex rate ceiling and floor today are 20,800-20,466 dong/US dollar.

The 5 dong fall in interbank average forex rate has dragged the difference of US dollar buying price between banks and forex rate floor to be higher. Vietcombank saw the highest gap of 144 dong and the lowest gap is 64 dong at VietinBank.

Vietcombank quoted the US dollar price at 20,610-20,690 dong (buying-selling prices), increasing 90 dong in buying price and 70 dong in selling price from yesterday.

The US dollar price listed at Eximbank is 20,570-20,690 dong, up 40 dong in buying and 70 dong in selling.

At Bidv, the quoted forex rate is 20,610-20,710, up in both buying and selling price day on day.
