VCCI discusses private company start ups

At a conference to discuss the development of the private sector from now to 2010, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) reported that since the Enterprise Law was introduced in January 2000, over 100,000 new company start ups have been registered bringing the total number of private companies to 150,000.
Each year an additional 20,000 new companies come into being and VCCI expects by 2010 the number of private companies will reach 500,000.
