Enterprises at home and abroad can get more supports in their investment promotion under a new accord between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Foreign Investment Department (FID).
According to it, the FID, which is under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, will provide the VCCI with information and evaluation of the foreign investment situation in Vietnam periodically.
The two sides will also coordinate to offer specialist advices to localities and businesses at home and abroad about the possibilities and opportunities of investment cooperation, along with models and techniques of contract negotiation.
Meanwhile, the VCCI is responsible of regularly providing the FID with information and assessments about the development of businesses.
It will also supply the department with plans and projects open for foreign investment, as well as inform the FID about Vietnamese enterprises’ plan to invest abroad.
The same day, the VCCI agreed to coordinate with the Study Encouragement Society to organise training courses and theme seminars for Vietnamese enterprises.
Under the agreement, the Society will introduce graduates from vocational schools to the enterprises.
