Vegetables and Fruits Corp turns into parent company

The Vegetables and Fruit Corp has officially become a parent company over six subsidiaries. In the stable are: Vegetables and Fruits Import-Export Co, Tan Binh Foodstuff Export Co, Bac Giang Foodstuff Export Co, My Chau Packaging and Printing Co, Vegetables Export Co, the HCM City Agricultural Product and Food Import-Export Co, and the Dong Giao Food Export Co, which is to be equitised this year.
Among the 24 member companies of Corp, 12 companies that have gone public; five companies are joint ventures; and investors seven are to be equitised in 2005-2006, including: Thanh Hoa Vegetable and Fruit Import Export Co, Hai Phong Import-Export and Forwarding Co, Hanoi Food and Agricultural Product Import-Export Co, Ha Tinh Vegetable and Fruit Co, Da Nang Vegetable and Fruit Import-Export II Co, Da Nang Food Processing, Import-Export Co, and Kien Giang Food Processing for Export Co.
Another member company of Quang Ngai Food Processing, Import & Export Co is scheduled to go bankrupt some time in 2005.
