VIBank raises deposit interest rate

Vietnam International Bank (VIBank) on December 6 decided to increase interest rates for dong and US dollar deposits. Specifically, the interest rate for one month dong deposit will increase by 0.55% per month, for two month dong deposits 0.60% per month and three month dong deposits 0.66% per month.
As for US dollar deposits, the interest rates raise by 0.10% to 0.35% per month for deposits with one, two and three month terms. According to Le Dinh Long, general director of VIBank will offer more gifts to clients such as supermarket shopping cards, ATM Values cards and so forth.
With such increase in interest rates, VIBank is now one of the banks having the most attractive interest rates.
