Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) has been applying a new table of mobilising interest rate in dong for long term tenure with a higher rate from the start of this August

In details, with all deposits in dong with over 12 months tenor, the interest rate has increased more than in the old table.

All savings with the tenor of 24 months, 36 months, 48 months and 60 months have raised their interest rates to 10%/year, up 0.5  percent compared with the previous time. Under 12-month tenor savings still have interest rate of 9%.

However, with 12-month tenor savings, Vietcombank have decreased one point, down to 10%/year.
