VietinBank finances 300b dong for Cau Gie-Ninh Binh expressway project

Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank-CTG) on April 13 signed a credit contract to provide 300 billion dong loan for Cau Gie (Gie Bridge)-Ninh Binh highway project.

The five-year loan will have the lending rate of 12.1 percent per year.

The 6-lane Cau Gie-Ninh Binh expressway with 50 kilometers in length invested by Vietnam Expressway Investment and Development Corp (VEC) is part of South-North Highway project approved by the prime minister in April 2005.

Under the approved plan, VEC will use its chartered capital and issue construction bond to develop the project.
