Vietnam export turnover to Asean reaches nearly $8b

Total Vietnam export turnover into Asean in H1/2012 reached over $7.86, up 25.4 percent year-on-year.

Exports to Asean accounted for 14.4 percent total exporting turnover of Vietnam (equally up $1.59 billion)

In contrast, according to statistic of general Department of Vietnam Customs on August 08, total Vietnam import spending from Asean in H1/2012 was over $10.27 billion, down 1.2 percent on year and accounting for 20.7 percent total import spending from all international markets.

Total exchanged value between Vietnam and Asean in Q1 and Q2/2012 increased by 8.8 percent on year and accounted for 17.8 percent total export-import turnover of Vietnam.

The main exporting goods were rice, raw oil, computer, electronic products, accessories and mobile phones.
