Vietnam-Thailand trade revenue rises 33.9%

Vietnam-Thailand trade turnover in the first half reached nearly US$1.4 billion, a year-on-year rise of 33.9%, according to Vietnam Trade Representative Office in Thailand. Particularly, Vietnam export to Thailand attained US$354 million, up by 87.4% against last year while import spending from Thailand recorded more than US$1 billion, growing by 21.76% over the same period. The export items posting the highest growth include electronic components and computers, crude oil, coal, seafood and peanuts.
