Vietnam’s economic growth second in Asia: WB

A report by the World Bank announced on April 27 projected that Vietnam’s economy this year will post a growth of 7.5%, slightly reducing from the 7.7% last year however still ranking second in Asia. China is expected to retain its position as the top performing country with a GDP rate of 8.3%, a significant drop from last year’s 9.5%.
The WB report projects the emerging economies in the East Asian region will attain an average economic growth of 6.0%.
