Vietnam’s export to Japan soars more than 39pct in Jan-Jul
In the first seven months of this year, Vietnam’s export turnover of goods to Japanese market reached approximately $7.6 billion, growing 39.31 percent over the same period last year, Ministry of Industry and Trade reported.
Of which, Vietnam’s export of crude oil to Japan fetched the biggest turnover with $1.71 billion, up 134.82 percent on year, export of apparel products and seafood products still posted high growth with $1.03 billion (apparel products, up 19.96 percent on year) and seafood products at year-on-year growth of 25.31%.
It is expected that in the remaining five months of this year, the country’s export turnover to Japanese market would reach about $6 billion, an average of $1.2 billion per month, exceeding the export turnover target of $11 billion this year.
