Ben Thanh Rubber Joint-Stock Co. (BRC) rose 1.8 percent to 11,500 dong, the highest close since June 27. December- delivery rubber gained as much as 1.2 percent on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, paring this year’s loss for the most-active contract to 6.4 percent.
CMC Corp. (CMG VN), a software maker and a provider of information technology-related equipment and services, dropped 3.9 percent to 4,900 dong, the biggest decline since May 29. The company will be put on the exchange’s warning list from tomorrow because of a 101 billion dong ($4.8 million) net loss in 2011, according to a statement on the bourse’s website late yesterday.
