Vietsovpetro reports US$3.3b crude oil exports

The Vietnam-Russia oil and gas joint venture Vietsovpetro reportedly earned more than US$3.3 billion from crude oil exports in the first nine-months of 2005, with the target for 2005 at $4.4 billion.
During the period, Vietsovpetro pumped nearly eight million tonnes of crude oil, equivalent to 76% of the year’s target. The company also extracted 1.3 billion cubic meters of gas.
The joint venture has targeted to pump a total of 10.6 million tonnes of oil this year.
