Viettel to invest in Timor-Leste

Hoang Anh Xuan, chair board of directors of Viettel Global Investment JSC (Viettel Global) has recently signed Decision to form Viettel Timor Leste Ltd in Timor-Leste with 100 percent chartered capital from Viettel Group.

This company has been formed to carry out investing in telecommunication network project in the entire territory of Timor-Leste with total nearly $15 million of investment.

Thus, by this time Viettel Global has invested communication network in 6 overseas markets: Laos, Cambodia, Haiti, Mozambique, Peru and Timor-Leste.

In 2012, Viettel Global targets $791 million of total revenue from foreign markets and $94 million of profit.
