Vinalines puts into operation largest dry cargo ship

Vietnam National Shipping Lines Corp (Vinalines) on April 26 reported that in 2006-2010, it reached the average annual growth rate at 12 percent.

Last year, the corporation achieved total shipping volume of 33 million tonnes, about 1.5 times higher than that of 2005, contributing 1.2 trillion dong to the state budget.

Vinalines lately put into operation Vietnam’s largest dry cargo ship of 73,350 dwt. In addition, Vinaline has carried out work on Van Phong International Port in Khanh Hoa province. It is the deep-water port capable of receiving new ship models from other countries in the world.
