Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Co (Vinamilk-coded VNM) reported gaining total revenue of over 6.051 trillion dong in the first three months of 2012, growing around 30 percent year-on-year and marking the record revenue so far.
With satisfactory figures in Q1, VNM’s total revenue is expected to be 26.5 trillion dong by the end of this year, exceeding the target of 26.480 trillion dong.
The southern bourse-listed company is targeting to become one of top 50 dairy companies in the world with revenue of $3 billion by 2017.
Currently, VNM has a dairy factory in New Zealand and 10 others throughout Vietnam with the operation at 100 percent capacity. As planned, the firm will have three more new factories to be in operational from this year with total investment capital of around 4.5 trillion dong.
