Vinatex to equitise subsidiaries

Vietnam Textile and Garment Corp (Vinatex) will equitise all entities under its control in 2006, according to the industry ministry. In which in the case of Viet Tien, Phong Phi and Hanoi Textile and Garment Co after equitising all subsidiaries, Vinatex will equitise the parent company in 2007.
Textile businesses that have equitised will continue to sell state equities this year, especially loss making businesses. Besides equitising some subsidiary members in the provinces, Vinatex would equitise small subsidiaries followed by parent companies said Bui Xuan Khu deputy minister of industry ministry.
