VMS-MobiFone reaches 2.6 million subscribers

Vietnam Mobile Telecommunication Services Co (VMS-MobiFone) under Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Corp (VNPT) now reaches 2.6 million subscribers in four main services of MobiFone, Mobicard, MobiPlay and Mobi4U.
VMS-MobiFone is the 10-year mobile phone business cooperation contract between Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Corp (VNPT) and Comvik, a subsidiary of the giant Swedish firm Millicom. VMS-MobiFone always gain high growth rate from 1995 to 2005 with 1,180 base transceiver stations (BTS), 7,240 wave transceivers.
