VN Index rises for third consecutive session
The April 5 session witnessed the third consecutive increasing session of two indexes with large increasing amplitude.
Particularly, at the end of the session, VN Index reported an increase of 4.31 points or 0.84% to 514.79 points with total matching order trade of over 41.8 million shares valued at nearly 1.577 trillion dong, up 6% in volume and 2% in value in comparison to the previous session.
Among 220 shares and fund certificates listed on the southern floor, there were 133 codes jumping, 46 codes dropping and 39 codes staying unchanged and one code with no trade of AGD.
Many large cap share codes stayed unchanged at comparative prices such as KBC, STB, SJS, PVD, CTG, EIB and FPT. Meanwhile, the point-gainers included REE, VCB, VIC, SSI, ITA, HPG, HAG, DPM and BVH.
There were four share codes plunging to flooring price such as NWH, VPH, RDP and FPC.
Regarding trading volume, STB led the market with 1.54 million shares changing hands, followed by SAM with 1.3 million shares, ANV with 1.21 million and HLA with 1.2 million shares.
Sharing the same scenario, HNX Index increased by 3.07 points or 1.87% to 167.18 points with total market trade of over 34.87 million shares worth 1.159 trillion dong, raising by 41.3% in volume and 36% in value against the last session of previous week.
