The motivation from six previous increasing sessions made most of share codes increase in the first trading session of July. Ending the trading session today July 1, the index of Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC) raised 10.21 points or 2.55% to 409.61 pts with the total matching order trade of nearly nine million shares and fund certificates worth 215 billion dong, an increase of 17.84% in volume and 7.2% in value against the previous session.
Among 157 share codes and fund certificates being listed on the southern bourse, the stock market saw 150 shares increasing and most of them reaching the ceiling price.
Particularly, VNM added 3,000 dong to 109,000 dong per share, ITA and VIC up 2,500 to 91,500 and 96,000 dong, PVD leaped 2,000 to 78,000, FPT and STB jumped 1,500 and 600 dong per share along with others like HPG, PPC, DPM and SSI.
Four decliners were KMR, VKP, BTC and LSS.
STB reached the biggest trading volume with over 1.2 million shares, followed by ALP 384,070, BBC 382,370, BF1 364,490, VNE 352,370, VF4 291,920, SAM 280,940 and MPC with 256,990 shares being traded.
Similarly, the Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HaSTC) today July 1 also surged on the stock market when the HaSTC Index up 2.32 points or 2.06% to end at 114.99 pts with the total market trades of 3,853,700 worth nearly 76 billion dong.
Among 142 listed shares on the northern bourse, the stock market recorded 12 shares decreasing, five stood still, eight with no trade and 117 increasing.
Five stood still namely CJC, CTB, HPS, LTC and VC3.
Eight with no trade were HBE, HSC, HUT, L62, LBE, LUT, NPS and ONE.
12 decliners included B82, BHV, BTS, C92, CID, DST, KBC, KMF, NGC, PSC, VBH and VC6.
MIC was the biggest gainer when adding 2,600 dong and followed by VSP leaped 1,900 dong, RCL surged 1,700, ACB and SCJ up 1,600, S99 up 1,400, BVC, NTP and VC2 leaped 1,200, CDC bounced 1,100 and HAI, NBC, PAN, PVS, SDC, SNG and TC6 bounded 1,000 dong per share.
KLS took the pole place in trading volume with 633,300 shares, followed by ACB with 270,400, TBC 204,700, QNC 164,500, VC5 152,600 and PVI with 132,200 shares being changed hands.
