VP Telecom applies for CDMA mobile license

Vietnam Power Telecom Co (VP Telecom) has submitted its nationwide mobile supply service projects to the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
Accordingly, VP Telecom will provide CDMA mobile network, which was developed from the wireless phone network of VP Telecom for Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, HCM city and Dong Nai.
When licensed, VP Telecom will be the third provider of this kind after Saigon Post and Telecom Service Joint Stock Co (Sai Gon Postel) and Hanoi Telecommunications Joint Stock Co.
