VPBank posts 40.3 b dong pre-tax profit

In the first nine months this year, total pre-tax profit of VPBank are estimated at 40.3 billion dong, surpassing the plan by 15% set by the shareholder meeting in early year 2004, said a high level VPBank official.
Since the start of 2004, VPBank has put three banking transaction booths in operation in Hanoi and Hai Phong City and completing necessary procedures to open more banking transaction booths and branches nationwide.
According to the plan by VPBank, by the end of 2004, its banking network will have 25 banking transaction booths in Hanoi, HCM City, Hai Phong, Hue, Can Tho and Da Nang.
