VSD grants transaction codes to 15,838 foreign investors as of end-Jul

Till July 31, 2012, Vietnam Securities Depository Centre (VSD) has granted share transaction codes for 15,838 foreign investors, including 1,885 institutional investors and 13,953 individual ones.

In July alone, there were additional 51 foreign stock players getting transaction codes from VSD, including 36 institutions and 15 individuals.

Thus, since 2011 so far, July 2012 saw the highest volume of foreign institutions getting transaction codes with 36 institutional investors. Earlier, the highest was 32 institutions in November 2011.
