A large number of students from universities and colleges in Hanoi discussed HIV/Aids-related matters at a forum on youth with HIV/Aids held in Hanoi on Sunday December 11.
The forum, jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Students Association Central Committee, the Vietnam Women’s Union Central Committee and the Hanoi National University, attracted many young people.
Young participants from relevant agencies focused discussions on the situation of HIV/Aids-infected students and youth, how to assist and encourage young HIV/Aids patients to overcome difficulties, and measures to prevent HIV/Aids from spreading. They expressed young people’s determination to make a greater effort in the fight against the deadly pandemic.
After the forum, participants took part in camping and other sport and cultural activities to disseminate information about the risk of HIV/Aids infection.
