Banks mobilise nearly 15.5tr dong via bonds

The report on the monetary bond market of MB Securities (MBS) in the first half of May mentioned that many banks had recently issued bonds such as Vietnam Prosperity Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) that successfully mobilised 2.6 trillion dong for three-year term with fixed interest rate of 6-6.4 percent per year. Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) issued two trillion dong with 3-year term, annual interest payment, and with fixed rate of 6.3 percent per year.

Since the beginning of the year, six banks issued nearly 15.5 trillion dong of bonds. Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) led the issuance of 6.081 trillion dong with an interest rate of 7.33-8 percent per year, a term of six to eight years. Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) also issued nearly 2.402 trillion dong of three to ten year bonds while HCM City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) issued 1.4 trillion dong of bonds.

In addition, some real estate businesses also issued bonds such as TNR Holdings of over 9.711 trillion dong, Kita Invest 2.1 trillion dong, Golf Binh Hai 2.745 trillion dong, Sun Ha Long 2 trillion dong, and Hung Thinh Land 1 trillion dong.
