* Thu Duc Housing Development Corporation (TDH) said it would advance a 2014 dividend in cash for shareholders at 5 percent on February 2 next year.

* Kieu Phong Trading and Service Company has registered to buy one million shares (7.8 percent) of Innovative Technology Development Corporation (ITD) over one month starting from December 31.

* Nguyen Manh Hung, a board member of Binh Thanh Import Export Production and Trade Company (GIL), will sell his entire stake of nearly 650,000 shares, or 4.7 percent, to Nguyen Saigon Company via a put-through transaction on December 31.

* Construction Investment Corporation 3-2 (C32) expected to obtain after-tax profit of VND70 billion (US$3.2 million) on revenue of VND444 billion (US$20.7 million) this year, exceeding 17 percent and 2 percent against the initial targets. The firm expects to earn VND76 billion (US$3.5 million) in after- tax profit and VND516 billion (US$24 million) in revenue next year.

* Nguyen Mai Bao Tram, deputy general director of Hochiminh City Infrastructure Investment Company (CIl), will acquire an extra 300,000 CII shares to raise her stake to around 306,000 shares over one month starting from January 5 next year.

* VietA Bank wants to offload its entire stake of over 2.8 million shares, or 3.9 percent, at Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation (TTF) from December 30 this year to January 28 next year.

* Vietnam Industrial Infrastructure Development and Textile Trading- Manufacturing Corporation (Vinatex ITC) will sell nearly 50,000 shares of Thu Due Housing Development Corporation (TDH) to lower its holding around 275,500 shares over one month starting from January 6 next year

* Foreign Trade Forwarding and Transportation Company (VNT) has announced January 5 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2014 second round dividend in cash for shareholders at 5 percent.

* Ocean Group Company has registered to sell over 3.6 million shares of Ocean Hospitality and Service Company (OCH) to lower its holding by 1. 7 percent to 65 percent over nearly one month starting from December 31.

* State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) will offload its entire stake of over 3.2 million shares (16.4 percent) at Sai Son Cement Company (SCJ) between December 31 this year and January 29 next year.

* Thirteen Cat LM ferries will operate around the clock on New Year Day to serve passengers travelling between HCM City and Dong Nai Province, Sai Gon Giai Phong reports, citing Le Huu Chau, director of HCM City Ferry Bridge Construction Company Limited.

* The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) is developing an electronic office system worth VNDll billion to save VND24 billion a year from electronic information exchange, BIDV deputy general director Dang Manh Pho said at an information technology event inHanoiyesterday. The project is now at the final stage and will be put into use next month.

* State economic groups and corporations have paid nearly VND257 trillion in tax: to the national budget this year, 5.7 percent higher than the year’s target but only equivalent to 90.2 percent of the amount last year, Sai Gon Giai Phong reports, citing a report by the Ministry of Finance. These enterprises have posted combined revenues of VND917.5 trillion and pre- tax: profits of VND148.3 trillion this year.

* Coach fares for trips fromHCMCity’s Mien Dong Coach Station to other parts of the country during the high Tettravel season from January 31 to February 18 will be adjusted up by 20-60 percent. Nguyen Ngoc Thua, director of the coach station, forecast the number of passengers going through the station during the New Year holiday will surge 30 percent compared to normal days.

* The total number of passengers going through airports inVietnamis, estimated to exceed 50.5 million, up 14.7 percent against last year; while the cargo volume at airports rises by 20.5 percent to 905;000 tonnes, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. The number of passengers on domestic flights has grown stronger than expected at 17.5 million passengers (up 20.5 percent), Chinhphu: un reports.

* A new DAP fertiliser plant at Tang Loong Industrial Park in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai has launched its first fertiliser batch made of apatite. The facility ofDAP Lao Cai Company No.2 has an annual production capacity of 330,000 tonnes and a construction cost of over VND5 trillion.

* Saigon Trading Group (Satra) has opened its 50th Satrafoods store inHCMCityonTan Hoa Dong Streetin District’ 6. Lying next to the new Satrafoods store is the 12th Satra filling station.
