* Honda Vietnam will increase the warranty for those buying Honda City cars from July 7 to 31 from three years or 100,000 kilometers to five years or 150,000 kilometers. The promotional programme applies to all Honda City cars, including both standard and limited edition versions.

* Euro Auto, the importer and distributor of BMW cars in Vietnam, is offering a 7 percent discount on the BMW 7 -series sedans, or reductions of 346 million dong and 355 million dong on BMW 730 Li and BMW 750 Li respectively. The discounted prices of the respective car models are over 3.94 billion dong and more than 5.37 billion dong.

* HTC yesterday introduced HTC One mini 2, the latest edition of HTC One priced at 10.9 million dong. The new product comes with a 4.5-inch screen, a quad-core Snap dragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory storage and a 13MP camera.

* VietJetAir has started an express check-in procedure for passengers who are over 65 years old, pregnant or accompanied by children under two at all the airports to which it has flights. The service is available for both domestic and international flights.

* Cam Ranh Shipbuilding Company yesterday handed over the steel vessel Sang Fish 01 to Phan Be, a fisherman in QuangNgaiProvince. The 7.3 billion dong vessel can carry 18 crewmembers and 60 tonnes of fish. Almost all of the country’s fishing boats are made out of wood.

* Sacombank has initiated lending packages for small and medium-sized enterprises to borrow a maximum of one billion dong for each loan with procedures completed within two working days.

* Bao Viet Securities Investment Fund has offloaded over 505,000 shares of SMC Investment Trading Company (SMC), or a 2.13 percent stake.

* Bien Hoa Sugar Company (BHS) has announced July 10 as the ex-dividend date to pay the second round of a 2013 dividend in cash for shareholders at 5%.

* Hung Vuong Corporation has acquired two million shares of Viet Thang Feed Company (VTF) to

raise its holding from 61.6 percent to 66.4%.

* VinaCapital Vietnam Fixed Income Limited has registered to sell one million shares of Quoc Cuong

Gia Lai Company (QCG) to reduce its ownership from 2.9 percent to 2.1 %.

* Japan-Vietnam Medical Instrument Company (JVC) estimated to earn a net profit of 30 billion dong in the first half of this year, jumping 121.7 percent year-on- year, while its revenue was expected to rise 24.5 percent to 300 billion dong in the period. The firm targets a net profit of 140 billion dong on revenue of 905 billion dong this year, up 234 percent and 52 percent year-on-year respectively. It has plans to pay a dividend of 15 percent of par value for 2014.

* Maritime Bank has received the Global Currency Award 2014 from Wells Fargo Bank.

* Rang Dong Plastic Company (RDP) will begin trading over 2.7 million new shares on the Hochiminh

Stock Exchange on July 9.

* Mai Thanh Phuong, vice chairwoman of Nagakawa Vietnam Company ( AG), has bought 998,000 NAG shares to secure a 6.7 percent stake.

* Dong Nai Province- based Viet Thai Electric Cable Joint Stock Corporation is seeking approval to float five million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.

* Song Da 4 Company (SD4) has announced July 16 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2013 dividend in cash for shareholders at 10%.

* Liu Cheng Min, chair of Tung Kuang Industrial Company (TKU), has registered to sell over 450,000 TKU shares from tomorrow to August 1.

* Central Area Electrical Mechanical Company (CJC) has announced July 11 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2013 dividend in cash for shareholders at 30%.

* Nguyen Quang Huy, a relative of a board member of Education Financial Investment Company (EFI), will sell 560,000 EFI shares from July 3 to 31.

* Pham Van Manh, brother of vice Chair Pham Van Tuan of Can Tho Techno-Agricultural Supplying JSC. (TSC) sold his all 10,680 shares by June 30 through order-matching.

* Khanh Hoa Power JSC. (KHP) has changed the email to send and receive information to [email protected] as from July 9.

* Tieu Quoc Loi, deputy director of Sieu Thanh Joint Stock Corporation (ST8) registered to sell 3,600 shares from July 8 to August 6 through order-matching.

* Pham Hong Linh, deputy CEO of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (GAS) sold his all 3,000 shares by July 2 through order-matching.

* MT Gas JSC. (MTG) has changed its business registration certificate for the 11th time on June 27 with newly added business lines.

* Sea and Air Freight International (SFI)’s Board of directors (BOD) approved to adjust the charter capital in its Charter after the ESOP share issuance in 2014, according to the Board’s resolution on July 2.

* Le Duc Anh, brother of Le Anh Tu, deputy CEO of Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank or Eximbank (EIB) sold his all 74,900 shares by July 2 through order-matching.

* Market Vectors ETF Trust  –  Market Vectors  –  Vietnam ETF, a major shareholder of Tan Tao Investment – Industry Corporation (ITA) bought 188,340 shares by June 30.

* Vinh Son – Song Hinh Hydropower JSC. (VSH) was on July 2 reminded by the HOSE of the late disclosure on the resolution of its 2014 Annual general Meeting (AGM).

* Market Vectors ETF Trust  –  Market Vectors  –  Vietnam ETF, a major shareholder of PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemicals Corporation (DPM) bought 3,742,440 shares bh June 25.

* Safoco Foodstuff JSC. (SAF) will float 1,363,485 new shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on July 11, raising its total number of shares listed on the bourse to 5,909,262 units.

* Nguyen Trong Nam, BOD member cum general director of Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing JSC. (CTB) bought 6,200 shares from June 11 to June 20, raising his holding to 41,100 units after the deal.

* Danang Airport Services JSC (MAS) will delist its 3,008,816 shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) from July 9, 2014.
