* Ford Vietnam will launch all-new Ranger Wildtrak 4×4 3.2L AT with six-speed automatic transmission and Duratorq-TDCi 3.2L engine of l47kWpower. This new Wildtrak variant is priced at 838 million dong, inclusive of VAT.

* The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has granted insignia to Russia-based Pegas Touristik and Anh Duong Co., Ltd to recognise their contributions to bringing Russian tourists toVietnamon chartered flights. minister Hoang Tuan Anh has asked the companies to expand their operations inVietnam.

* Viettel has signed a comprehensive agreement with the Ministry of Education and Training to provide high-speed Internet service for educational institutions, from kindergartens to universities, and to boost the application of information technology to education and training in the country.

* Vietcombank’s Quang Ninh Branch and Halong Coal Company have inked a credit deal worth 1.3 trillion dong to finance the Khe Cham II-IV coal mining project in Quang Ninh Province. The project has a total investment of around 12.6 trillion dong.

* Southern Rubber Industry Company (CSM) has announced June 12 as the ex-dividend date to pay 2013 dividend in cash for shareholders at 23%.

* Nguyen Phat Quang, a relative of the chairperson of Investment Commerce Fisheries Corporation (ICF), has registered to sell 540,000 ICF shares, equivalent to a 4.2 percent stake, over a period of one month starting June 2.

* Mutual Fund Elite has bought 102,000 shares of Fecon Foundation Engineering and Underground Construction Company (FCN) to hold a 5.2 percent stake.

* Gemadept Corporation (GMD) has plans to issue $30 million worth of convertible bonds between the second and fourth quarters this year. The five-year debt paper will carry a coupon of 0%-6 percent per annum. It will sell the bond to institutional investors. The price for bond conversion will be calculated based on the market price at the time of issuance but not lower than 70 percent of the average level of GMD shares within one month before the date of issuance. The company will use the proceeds to fund its projects in the fields of seaport, logistics, realty and agriculture.

* Red River Holding has registered to sell 2.9 million shares of Hoa Sen Group (HSG) to reduce ownership from 17 percent to 14%.

* Luu Ngoc Thanh, chair of Vung Tau Real Estate a Construction Company (VRC) will buy 100,000 VRC shares from June 3 to July 2 to raise his holding 23 percent to 0.92%.

* State Capital Investment Corporation has registered sell over 1.5 million shares of Agriculture Printing & Packaging Company (INN), or an 18.7 percent stake from June 3 to 6.

* ‘Nguyen Quang Huy, a relative of a board member Education Financial Investment Company (EFI), has register to sell 540,000 EFI shares.

* Vimeco Company (VMC) has announced June 12 the ex-dividend date for shareholders to receive a 2013 dividend of 12%.

* The Hanoi Stock Exchange announced a delisting of nearly 5.5 million shares of Quang Nam Mineral Industry Corporation (MIC) on June 23 as the firm incurred losses for three years in a row.

* Saigon Hotel JSC. (SGH) has got approval from the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) to list 1,766,300 new shares on the bourse.

*Song DaNo 10 JSC. (SDT) got approval from the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) to list 12,567,407 new shares on the bourse.

*Song DaNo 6 JSC. (SD6) will float 15,547,900 new shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on June 9, raising its total number of shares listed on the bourse to 34,771,611 units.

* Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank or Eximbank (EIB) announced June 12 as ex-date and June 16 as record date for 2013 cash dividend payment.

* Sieu Thanh Joint Stock Corporation (ST8) announced June 6 as ex-date and June 10 as record date for 2014 interim cash and share dividend payment.

* Tan Tao Investment – Industry Corporation (ITA)’s outstanding shares have decreased to 718,005,879 units after the firm withdrew 69,076 ESOP shares from staff who quitted, the firm said in a filing posted on the Hochiminh City Stock Exchange’s website on May 30.

* Nguyen Tien Dat, BOD member cum chief accountant of Vinaconex Trading and Manpower JSC (VCM) bought 39,300 shares from April 29 to May 28, raising his holding to 189,000 units or 6.3 percent stake after the deal.

* AMD Group Investment JSC has submitted its documents to the Hanoi Stock Exchange to seek approval for listing 30 million shares on the bourse.

* C.E.O Investment JSC has submitted its documents to the Hanoi Stock Exchange to seek approval for listing 34,311,998 shares on the bourse.
