* Saigonbank has got the nod from the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to revise up its chartered capital by VND 1 trillion to VND4.08 trillion.

* Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation (CAV) has announced March 30 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2015 dividend in cash for shareholders at 30 percent. Payments will be made on April 11.

* Cong Huong Company has registered to buy 200,000 shares of Hochiminh City Securities Corporation (HCM) to increase its stake in HCM to around 681,700 shares (0.5 percent) over one month starting from March 25.

* Transimex-Saigon Corporation (TMS) has added 2.8 million shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, raising its total outstanding volume to 26.6 million shares. The new shares will be tradable on March 29.

* Saigon Dan Linh Real Estate Company will be buying 350,000 shares of the Pan Group Company (PAN) to raise its holding by 0.35 percentage point to 2.2 percent from March 25 to April 23.

* Vietnam-Italy Steel Company (VIS) looks to attain revenue of VND2.48 trillion and pre-tax profit of VND36 billion this year. Last year,VISposted revenue of VND3.1 trillion, down 17.5 percent year-on-year, and incurred losses of VND51.9 billion.

* Ta Van Nam, a board member of Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation (TTF), will offload his entire stake totalling some 41,300 TTF shares between March 25 and April 23.

* VNDIRECT Securities Corporation will acquire two million shares of Post – Telecommunication Insurance Corporation (PTI) to raise its ownership from 7.6 percent to 10 percent within one month starting from March 23.

* Construction Company No.9 (VC9) posted VND755.1 billion revenue in 2015, a 13 percent rise versus 2014, and VNDll.2 billion net profit, nearly unchanged from a year earlier. The enterprise’s cash and cash equivalents fell’ by 57 percent from the end of 2014 to VND80.6 billion by end-2015 and its inventory descended 9.4 percent to VND480.3 billion.

* Lam Dong Investment & Hydraulic Construction Company (LHC) has chosen March 31 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2015 second round dividend in cash for shareholders at 10 percent. The firm will make payments on April 28.

* After canceling eight flights to and Cat Bi Airport in the northern city of Hai Phong on March 22 due to haze, Vietnam Airlines has announced it will cancel 10 more flights on March 23, including six flights from HCM City and Hai Phong, two between Cam Ranh and Hai Phong, and two between Danang and Hai Phong.
