* Power Construction Company 1 (PC1) will delay the 100 MW Trung Thu-Dien Bien solar power project as the Government has yet to finalize the new tariff for solar power after June 2019, said Viet Capital Securities Company. The company will replace the solar power project by the Lien Lap wind power plant in Quang Tri Province and is working on site clearance.

* Novaland Group (NVL) has signed strategic agreements with three foreign partners to develop hospitality services. They are the Professional Golfers Association of America; International Management Group, a leading global corporation specializing in sports, events, media and fashion; and French hospitality group Accor.

* Vietnam Electric Equipment Corporation (Gelex) is planning to sell 40 million shares in Viglacera Corporation (VGC) from now to October 26. If successful, Gelex will reduce its ownership in VGC from more than 54.82 million shares (12.2%) to 14.82 million shares (3.31 %), and lose its status as a major shareholder.

* Budget airline Viet jet (VIC) has added the world’s first 240-seat Airbus A321 neo ACF to its fleet. The A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex configuration) jet helps cut fuel consumption by a minimum of 16% while slashing noise and emissions by up to 75% and 50%, respectively.

* Nam Viet Corporation (ANV) has estimated a net profit rise of 66% year-on-year to VND510 billion in the January-September period of this year, Its revenue climbed 15% to VND3.1 trillion. China was the largest importer of ANV’s seafood in the period, accounting for 26% of its total export value.

* VietinBank Securities Company (CTS) plans to pay a 2018 dividend in cash at a ratio of 10%. With more than 106 million shares in circulation, CTS expects to spend more than VND106 billion on the payment.

* Manulife Vietnam has launched ManulifeMOVE, a new digital health and wellness platform that enables users to live an active and healthy lifestyle, while also rewarding them for every move they make. Users can also connect the app to popular health monitoring and tracking devices such as Apple Health and Google Fit.
