* Steel sales of steelmaker Hoa Phat Group JSC (HPG) in November totaled 300,000 tons, the record high in almost two decades of the group’s operations, The high sales were attributable to busy year-end construction activities, especially in southern Vietnam, A slight increase in steel prices in the local market encouraged the group’s partner distributors to purchase more steel to serve customers, reported Dau tu chung khoan newspaper.

* Tien Giang Investment and Construction JSC (THG) has announced December 25 as the record date to pay a 2019 first round dividend of 10% in cash. The payment will be made from January 8 next year.

* Norges Bank transferred 700,000 shares of Mobile World Investment Corp. (MWG) while Samsung Vietnam Securities transferred 100,000 MWG shares to Ntasian Emerging Leaders Master Fund on November 29. On the local market, MWG shares have traded in negative territory over the past month, according to Vietstock.vn.

* December 27 has been chosen as the ex-dividend date for shareholders of Sai Gon Thuong Tin Real Estate JSC (SCR) to receive a 2018 share dividend of 8%, with the record date being December 18. That means SCR will issue over 27,13 million new shares.

* Lilama 10 JSC (L10) has passed its business plan for 2020, with revenue targeted at VND 1.08 trillion and pre-tax profit at VND20 billion.

* Nguyen Hai Huy, an individual investor, purchased over 1,8 million shares of Railway Construction Corporation JSC (RCC) on November 25 to raise his holding at RCC to 12.44% and become the firm’s large shareholder.

* Vu Trong Tuan, director of Trang Thi Commercial and Services JSC (T12), will purchase 3.3 million T12 shares from December 3 to 31. He owns no T12 share before the transactions.

* Tran Van Viet, a board member at Nha Trang Textile and Garment JSC (NTT), shares registered to offload four million NNT shares from December 3 to 25, according to Cafef.vn.
