* Thang Long Air Services Corporation, which owns Taseco Air Services JSC (AST), will sell 4.5 million AST shares, or a 10% stake, between September 5 and October 4 to cut its ownership in AST to 22.87 million shares, or a 50.83% stake. In the first six months of the year, AST’s cumulative net revenue soared 30% to VND545 billion and its after-tax profit reached VND1l3.3 billion, up 48% year-on-year.

* Nguyen Anh Nhuong Tong, chairman of Media group Yeah1 (YEG) has registered to buy three million YEG shares from September 6 to October 5. The purchase is expected to raise his holding in YEG to 14.43 million shares, or a 50.1 % stake. The firm has announced a plan to transfer its entire stake, equivalent to 80%, in Film World JSC.

* Ben Tre Aquaproduct Import and Export Company (ABT) has chosen September 5 as the the ex-dividend date for shareholders to receive a 2019 first round cash dividend a 20%. The payment will be made on September 20.

* Cuu Long Pharmaceutical JSC (DCL) has passed a plan to allow its subsidiary VPC-SG Pharma to offload its entire 48.85 million shares in local pharmaceutical company EuviPharm. The transaction is slated in the third quarter of 2019.

* Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (VCG) will divest all its capital from Vietnam Construction Joint Stock Company No.2 (VC2) and Quyet Thang Construction and Import-Export JSC.

* Agribank Securities Company (Agriseco), a major shareholder of Vinaconex Tourism Investment and Development Company (VCR), has registered to sell over 1.29 million VCR shares between September 3 and October 2. The transaction will cut Agriseco’s ownership in VCR to 3.6 million shares, or a 10.17% stake.

* VietinBank Securities JSC (CTS) has announced September 13 as the ex-dividend date to pay a 2018 cash dividend of 10%. The record date will be September 16 and the payment date is slated for September 27.

* Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Company (SHP) will pay a cash dividend of 20%, choosing September 30 as the payment date. With its outstanding 93.71 million shares, the firm will spend an estimated VND187 billion on dividend payment for its current shareholders.
