* VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity (VOF) announced that it had invested some US$25 million in Tam Tri Medical JSC (TMMC Healthcare), which has a chain of private hospitals throughout Vietnam. The VOF investment will allow TMMC Healthcare to upgrade its facilities, expand its current hospitals, increase its capacity and quality of health care services, as well as seek opportunities to merge and acquire new hospitals.

* Real estate company First Real (FIR) will be selling 17 million shares to existing shareholders to fund projects under the cooperation with Truong Thinh Group. FIR will issue 13 million shares for existing shareholders and four million shares via a private placement this year.

* Platinum Victory Pte Ltd has registered to buy over one million shares of Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE) from now to October 5, after failing to buy the shares in August as earlier registered. Once completed, the investor will raise its stake at REE to 24.9%.

* VietinBank Securities Company acquired nearly 800,000 shares of Ba Ria-Vung Tau House Development Company (HDC) out of the total volume of three million shares registered for purchase between July 31 and August 28. The brokerage firm now has over 2.1 rnillion HDC shares, equal to 4.2% of its total outstanding volume.

* Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam is offering promotions to clients opening Standard Chartered Credit Card in the period from now until December 31, giving trolleys and bikes as lucky prizes to cardholders who have total spending worth from VND3 rnillion within 40 days from the card issuance date. Besides, all Standard Chartered credit cards are entitled to other promotions such as cash back on Grab rides, discounts at stores and restaurant promotions.

* Viglacera Ha Noi Company (VIH) has announced to sell 2.8 rnillion shares to the public to solve its financial problems. The selling price is set atVNDI0,000 each. VIH share price is around 017,900 on the market.

* Hoa Cam-Intimex Concrete Company (HCC) will close its shareholder list on September 20 to pay a 2017 dividend for shareholders at 30%. HCC is expected to spend VND19.5 billion on the payment.

* Aikya Pharmaceutical Company has acquired over 6.7 million shares of TV Pharmaceutical Company (TVP) to secure a 60.5% stake in the enterprise.
